I'm heading up there this weekend. Chances of rain are 20-30%.

I'm more interested in Knowing if fall colors are still there.

Foliage Update 11-14-2011 - Trees along the Kiamichi Trace and in Beavers Bend State Park are displaying brilliant shades of gold, orange, red and yellow. Fall foliage viewing in the area is currently at its peak.

Have fun & bring back some great shots.

The best light I ever got on the Talimena was a Fall day when the mountain was socked in fog.

The light on the foliage was just plain magic!

I had some friends just return from there last weekend and got some fabulous photos. Have fun!

I missed the fall foliage by two weeks. Most of the leaves had already fallen and most of Saturday was a hit and miss by rain, dark clouds and heavy fogs up on the mountains.

It wasn't a complete waste of a trip. I did manage to get few great shots.

Photos are moved to the proper section.

That fourth one is really cool, but you should move these to the Landscape photo section where more are likely to see them.
