I noticed that too. I know those tires are expensive but why drive a Ferrari and then cheap out on the tires

I found a news story that had some more details. Apparently the pack was driving 85-100mph and the lead driver was trying to pass another car on the wet corner and went into a spin. He hit the inside gaurd rail and bounced back into the highway. I can't help but wonder if he was one of the cars with bald tires? I also wonder what the rest of the drivers did to him?

Yeah, I wasn't feeling bad for them. Looking at the damage, it seemed like they would all have been driving too fast with not enough space between them. Drive stupid, and stupid things happen...
