A daughter and I drove to Quanah, Texas for the 26 June 2010 lunar eclipse. Left well pre-dawn from Plano. We waited in the wee hours for that eclipse while parked on a dirt road just to the west side of the Medicine Mounds. Well worth the effort, we felt we were the only two people stirring, the background sounds were coyotes wailing and cows mooing. Then, post eclipse, we drove to and toured the Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico. Great three days.
Yes we are strange. We both are night people.
