It is funny how teens in high school are taking this "tebowism" to the next level. Apparently, a group of 4 high school students got slapped with some days of suspicion for clogging the hallways with their supposed prayer duties in the tebow take a knee position. They are arguing that their Muslim classmates are allowed a time of prayer when they are given suspension instead of respect.

i found it mildly amusing, but meh.
and i don't think clogging the halls in your high school is a good way to display your religious convictions. you should indeed be allowed a time of prayer, but you shouldn't act like an ass to make it happen. they're using religion as a crutch.

Let's ease off the religious conversation per our forum rules. The video was for pure entertainment.

To be fair, Sonny, you did post something that was directly related to religion(s). I mean, Jesus was in the skit.

OK guys and gals. It was simply a skit. I meant no harm. Either way it is a moot point since the link is no longer valid.
In regards to my comments above, all I was trying to do is stop a potential argument from happening...NOTHING MORE. These type of discussion tend to get out of hand quickly.
I my opinion the mod staff is pretty lenient about what gets posted in the Open Talk section except for religion & politics. If you guys want to get picky and push the issue then we will start cracking down on content.
I would rather not have to go that route because I myself love to joke around and some fun with my fellow members.

This is funny!
| And why is it funny? Because it's satire. It pokes fun at religion, specifically people who are over-the -top about it. What 'da think was going to happen with this thread?
Having said that. I don't care if we're talking about one's religion, politics, pets, children, camera or computer brand, diet, car, etc., anyone that goes to the extreme about anything should of course, be ridiculed, tortured, shot and their dead carcass drug through town and burned. Quote: |
