I hope that patent is rejected. I can think of dozens of examples of prior art and obviousness, Software patents are just a bad idea.

I agree, software patents get really grayish. So basically we are all supposed to use photoshop because they kind of started layers (i doubt it but I don't know).

Also I think it's such a waste of resources because all it takes for software to change it a bit and you've circumvented a whole patent.

Apple patented the "slide to unlock" yet I have 5 different lock "swipes" on my phone to use. Just a bit of coding rules out that one patent and it's not like it is vastly different in concept.
