I shoot Olympus... and #4 actually has me thinking about switching to Canon/Nikon. Could I get enough for my current investment? Will I have an upgrade path for bodies in a year? etc.

I agree! My biggest disappointment with the Nikon 1 was the tiny sensor. An APS-C or FF MILC from Canon would certainly get my attention, if it can use EF and/or EF-S lenses, as I have more good Canon glass than Nikkor. It would be fine with me if this predicted Canon were to be quite a bit larger than the Nikon 1, to accommodate the sensor.
