This...

Followed by the early model of this...

with it's rocking 28.8k modem that left my 14 year old self with a $300 phone bill the first month. I was really happy when the first IPS's rolled out with local call up numbers.

First computer I ever programmed on was a friend of my dad's Apple II. When he saw I had a knack for programming he lent me his Rockwell AIM-65. Didn't even have a proper display, just a 20 character alphanumeric LED display, and a matching width printer that used calculator paper spools.

We returned that to him after my parents got me a Commodore VIC-20. That was the first computer that was truly mine. I had a lot of fun with that machine, programming my own games and such. It still baffles me what could be done with only 3.5KB of RAM and a television for a display.

I was introduced to computers in my college Fortran Class (with Punch cards for the IBM mainframe). The first one that I bought for myself was a "portable" Kaypro 64 using CPM. Twenty six pounds of portable!! Came with an early spreadsheet program from a new company called Microsoft....
