EDIT:
Just checked, the Free Super Saver shipping is 5-8 days, not 3-5 as originally thought.
For the most part, spending $25 on a single item or combined total is very common for me. Also, most or all of my deliveries have been 3 days or less from Amazon free delivery without the Prime membership. (This may depend on where you live and where the item is shipping from)

Like I said, for me, waiting (2-3) days longer for my item does not warrant $79 membership whereas someone else might......

Exactly!

Now, IF and WHEN ever Amazon does decide to let Mac OS portable devices to stream movies and tv shows, I would most definetely go with Amazon Prime and cancel Netflix membership fee of $7.99 monthly ($95.88 / Yearly).

Been using it for a couple years. Have saved bundles on shipping costs. LOVE IT!
I never worry about ordering multiple things at once. If I want something, i order it. If I decide an hour later I want something else... I order it. And it comes in 2 days for free, sometimes next day!

It also lets me borrow a book a month for my kindle for free.

ditto what Tom said. In fact I ordered a large pelican case from them and i had it in 2 days with no shipping charge. My guess is that normal 5 day shipping would have been over $30

Just for me, it always seemed like whatever I was wanting to order didn't have the super saver free shipping. With the prime membership it is very rare that I have to order and still pay. I still shop around though since they may not be the cheapest depending on shipping involved.

It really depends on what you expect to get out of it and if they have a trial version then I'd give it a shot and see if it's for you or not.

Used for years. It changed the way I order. I used to make sure that I had at least $50 or more in my order. Now I don't care. So yes, I think that it is worth the annual charge.

I have been one for a few years now.. I love it and it is worth every single penny.... I make up for it in one or two items that are shipped to me.. just the other day I got a 186lb weber grill shipped to me two day delivery... did I mentioned it was free shipping... also if I am in need of something, the overnight shipping for $3.99 is great.
