Talking The Triolgy Movie Meter - 02-14-2012, 10:23 AM

These images are not entirely accurate...I know this and I know some of you are going to have disagreements and that’s fine. I also know some of these movies went more than 3 sequels, but I didn't create these images. They are just for fun!

Scary how many have 4 movies now. Of course Star Trek could be on there a few times.

This is pretty cool. Though I wasn't sure if Star Wars was referring to the first Trilogy which was 4-6 or the second trilogy which was 1-3? But overall the charts seem pretty accurate. The green chart not quite as accurate IMO. Also, I always felt the Godfather 3 and Terminator 3 got a bad rap. It may not be popular to say but they were way better than they got credit for.

And there was a Mannequin trilogy? Who knew!

  3. Pirates of the Caribbean
  4. Mission Impossible
  5. Cannonball Run
  6. Austin Powers
  7. Police Academy
  8. Scream
  9. Highlander
  10. Evil Dead
  11. Naked Gun
  12. Look Who's Talking
  13. Halloween
  14. Friday The 13th
  15. Nightmare On Elm Street
  16. Exorcist
  17. Saw
  18. The Mummy
  19. Resident Evil
  20. Hellraiser

I know I am forgetting a bunch more but these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

#9 THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE - THERE ARE NO HIGHLANDER SEQUELS, I don't care what people say. I still am convinced there is only one Matrix movie too.

How can you have a 'trilogy' meter with only two meters? Huh? That's my question, right there. Well, can ya, punk?

Yah. Namely that many of these never had a trilogy Notice the April fools note at the bottom? There was no third Short Circuit or Mannequin.
