Leatherman's are my favorite, but if you want a good knife made in the USA go for a BUCK.( I have 4 Buck knifes and Cherish them )

I have 10-15 Bucks. The last one, I just picked up a couple of weeks ago, was made in China.
When they moved to Idaho it was my understanding they were going to keep the custom shop in the USA.
ON EDIT:
My current favorite knife is a William Henry, but they don't make survival knives.

Just got this delivered the other day, now Im trying to find some nice scales to make the handle. Anyone have a good source? The handle is 5.5" and I can only find 5" scales.

I am, sorta. Im looking for blanks long enough. 5" may do it, I need to measure exactly to see. I have found some really nice burl blanks I would like to use.

Army surplus Vietnam era survival knife, don't know the cost now, and mine was issued free. It has stood the test of time.
