Leatherman's are my favorite, but if you want a good knife made in the USA go for a BUCK.( I have 4 Buck knifes and Cherish them )

You will be disappointed to hear that Buck has moved some of its manufacturing to China.

I have 10-15 Bucks. The last one, I just picked up a couple of weeks ago, was made in China.

When they moved to Idaho it was my understanding they were going to keep the custom shop in the USA.

ON EDIT:

My current favorite knife is a William Henry, but they don't make survival knives.

Also got one of these, some ostrich skin wrap and black flat cord. Gonna try a traditional wrap on it..

Y'all do keep in mind that Amazon.com sells production knives, and following the link from here benefits Pixtus.com.

Like Jim I have also been collecting knives
for over twenty years. I must have over
150 by now. You are in luck. there will be
a knife show in DFW on March 10-11.
If you like knives this will be a treat.

Army surplus Vietnam era survival knife, don't know the cost now, and mine was issued free. It has stood the test of time.
