Where to Donate/Sell Equipment?

Hi Texas Photo Gurus:

For the past 15 years, I've been moving boxed up darkroom equipment from place to place. I've come to the realization that with boyscouts, little league baseball, yoga, swimming, basketball, and countless activities for the kids, I am not likely to use this stuff for another 10 years.

I have a full darkroom's worth of stuff from an omega 4X5 enlarger, dryers, safelights, trays, agitanks, enlarging easels, lenses, negative carriers, etc...

I would love to get a some $ for it, but I don't have the time to really dig through everything, and list it/post it. If I can't sell it, I would love to donate it to a high school or college that might actually use it and help others learn about the beauty of the darkroom.

Any suggestions for what I can do with it. (And my wife already beat you to the first answer, so just constructive ideas please.)

Darkroom equipment does not sell very easily or for near what it should be worth.


If that doesn't work out, there are several teachers that hang around. One or more of them would love to get a donation.
