Large House Needed.

So I'm being commissioned for a shoot on March 17th and I am in need of a large house with old looking wooden stairs.. Does anyone know or have access to someone who has this set up? Hoping to not have to pay so maybe we can do some sort of barter.. Please let me know!

Oh well commissioned isnt the best term to use.. I'm just shooting a friend in a gothic looking setting indoors.. I'm hoping I can acquire a house for the shoot

The main stairway at La Columbe D'Or on Montrose Boulevard is quite nice. (it is the old historic Fondren Mansion converted to a restaurant and small hotel.) Some weddings are performed on that stairway. It will not be free, of course, but I thought I would mention it. I was acquainted with the owner back in the late 1990s, but he is definitely the all-business type. I worked security for weddings and events there, and I doubt he offers discounted rates to anyone.

Plenty enough mansions in the Montrose and the Heights have been converted to the B&B industry, and might allow photo shoots for a more modest fee, or perhaps barter.

It has been long ago since my contact at one mansion on Lovett Boulevard stopped working there.
