Give some reasons why you like photography, funny or serious.

I like it because it's the only hobby I know of where you can shoot a person and not go to jail, well most of the time

It also allows you to click off shots of hot girls even when your wife is standing next to you just by holding the camera down low and just pointing in their dirrection!

Like it?? I hate it. It kicks me in the teeth every day. You think you're an okay photographer, then you come to places like TPF and see all the great photos and you get put in your place again.

Don't even get me started on the money part of this business.

You know what, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I like photography because otherwise I would look pretty dumb walking around town and saying "click".

Maybe it's just me.

Prophet out.

I like it because I can't paint or draw, but I can make art with a camera

I also like it because the photos never quite turn out like how I imagined, sometimes better or sometimes worse!

i like it because you never know what you will see though your camera lense.

its also fun to look at your pictures after taking them and find things you might have missed before.

Love some of those answers. Mine is simply, it's the only way I know of to capture a moment in time and keep it. A well taken photo can always bring out an old memory of the time and place it was taken. Just my thoughts.

I like it because as Elliot said, "...Investing form with lucid stillness;Turning shadow into transient beauty..."

I've been around it since I was just a Wee Tot, and never got too far away from it...My Mother was a hobby photographer with her own darkroom, so camera stuff was just always apart of my life...
