Woophy, an acronym for World of Photography, allows users to zoom in to eye level and gves a human element to Internet maps. Instead of orbiting satellites, the site employs a volunteer army of amateur shutterbugs and travel enthusiasts to document the far corners of the world.

Anyone can register for free and upload their images to Woophy's database.

They also have a Photo Contest to enter with a different theme every month.

Okay, I finally got around to looking through the Texas photos . . . and there are not that many good ones.

A couple stood out, but I am sure this group can contribute a ton of Texas photos and really shock this site when they get 1000+ new photos of Texas! LOL!!!
