Man I LOVED the photography in that commercial (as well as the commercial itself).
I wonder if it was all done by one photographer or if it was a compilation. If one person I'd sure like to find out who it is.

Agree on the images and they were certainly helped with the narration of Paul Harvey.
Beautiful work and a top commercial.
Well this is NO surprise at all - Bill Allard and Kurt Markus were both involved in the creation of the images according to a Wikipedia article that already exists. So God Made a Farmer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's amazing that they hired the cream of the crop of American photojournalism to create images for this commercial. I was thinking of Allard while watching the commercial and you could take many of the images from his "Vanishing Breed" book about cowboys and drop them right into it. If you have no Allard books then you should.

Very well shot and all, but man Chrysler is breaking out the drama with their ads. Go USA, ignore that we are owned by the Italians after the US Gov bailed us out.

I honestly couldn't care less about the message. It was all about the photos for me.

Really liked this commercial as well. The photos worked so well with the narration. The only commercial that actually made me stop what I was doing to watch.
"A camera, like a guitar, is just a box with a hole in it. Until it is placed in the hands of a TRUE artist, it will not make music, only noise."
farmers need reliability too much to ever consider a Chrysler product. Or so I was told by a farmer. who sounds nothing like Mr Harvey....good commercial, yes, but Chrysler has way too much image baggage to overcome.

Funny, I was commenting on the photography in this commercial. It's the only one that stood out to me and apparently a lot of people. This was all about the photography. I must say, this commercial is the first product Chrysler/Dodge ever produced that wasn't junk. Well.. the marketing firm they hired produced it but at least they have learned how to outsource to get something decent.

I have seen this before but I have no idea what you call it or how it's done. Did anyone notice that several of the photos had subjects that were moving? There is one that has a bunch of blackbirds that are moving, or one with a Sunflair that moves across the photo. I am curious about that and how it's done. I bet Abel knows!
