It has been a week today since she was so quickly taken from us by cancer. The link below is a tribute to our fallen friend. please feel free to read it, if you wish. there is also a video I made for her there too. Just needed to vent and didn't know how else to do it,

Chris - sorry for your loss. I love the page you made for her - it really shows how much you loved her - but on the page it says April, not March.

She certainly was a gorgeous dog. What breed/cross was she? Looks like some german sheperd with a bit of chow or something, goiing by her tongue.

I understand what you are going through. I lost one of my oriental shorthair cats to kidney failure. He was 4 and it happened 2 days before Christmas last year. Not only do I miss him, but his brother now does not have a play mate. I went to your link and you did such a wonderful job on it.

I'm very sorry for your loss of Sandy Bear. That is a beautiful picture of such a beautiful dog. I will read your site later as I am at work now and these things always make me cry! It is so hard to lose our furry friends.

Chris,

I am so sorry for your loss... It is so hard to loose close friends.

My brother actually lost his 10yr old lab earlier this week, and his heart is broken.

Your memorial to her is beautiful and shows how much you loved one another.

My sincerest condolinces,

Joe

Again, Thank you to all that have responded. It is truely humbling when so many you have never met, show so much compassion for others. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.

Chris--
My condolences on your unexpected loss. The bond between a guy and his dog is very strong (I should know...I would be devastated if something happened to my Bella). You did an amazing job capturing the emotional bond on your website.

Chris,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Two days ago Walter, our buddy of 15 years, died suddenly. Like your Sandy Bear, Walter was healthy right up to the end when his little heart gave out without warning. Jill and I know our touch and voices comforted Walter as he faded away.
Your tribute to Sandy Bear is so tender. And yes, only a few of us will understand your special bond, the magic of your friendship, and the terrible sense of loss that you are feeling.
The hardest part is finding replacements for the daily routines that included our now-missing friend. I read in bed every night and Walter would sit behind me so his shadow would fall across my book. I haven't been able to open a book these past two night because I just can't face the pages without that silhouette of his ears. Believe this: you are a better person because you are hurting right now.
Jill and i wish you the best and thank you for sharing your feelings and photos.

Dan
