Spending Other People's Money ... - 04-04-2006, 01:00 PM

Really, what is better I ask you? We are hiring a new PE so it's time to play musical PC's! And since I am at the top of the food chain around these parts I get to order myself a new PC!

RAM, I ordered 2 gigs. And a new 19" flat widescreen. The rest is pretty standard fair. But what can I say? When I spend other people's money it has this giddy effect on me.

Prophet out.

it feels good when you get to use the stuff you are buying with other peoples money. I ordered me a new PC 18 months ago and I got a pretty nice laptop and I was expecting a standard cheap 17" CRT, but I got a nice 17" LCD instead , my co-workers wanted to steal it from me.

In the last 9 years at my company I have probablly spent well over 200 million dollars. It does not make fell giddy at all, but a little laptop does.

Being the top IT dawg at the office has it's advantages...

I wish I could sneak a new MacPro in through the back door. Hmmmm, let's see, I could MAKE it run (shudder) Windows.
