Bloody carpet cleaning question. - 04-12-2006, 01:10 PM

Okay I have a question. Say someone breaks into your house and you shoot the intruder, but he does not die. Who is responsible (financially) for cleaning up the blood on the carpets? What if he does die, then who pays for the carpet cleaning?

My insurance company and cleaning blood up is a special business.

Well if he lives I guess you could take him to small claims court.

But it's still probably best if you make sure he's dead and eat the cost of cleaning the carpet or use it as an excuse to finally get that wood laminate flooring you've always wanted anyway.
Think of it as doing your civic duty and saving us taxpayers a lot of money in trial and jail costs.
