360 traffic rant... - 05-04-2006, 02:48 PM

Just a rant. I was in Westlake yesterday for my daughter's ballet recital and traffic going north on 360 was horrible. I left at 6:00pm and made it to 183 at around 6:45. I thought MoPac and I-35 were bad. I wish they would expand 360 or make it a freeway (tollway more likely). The only good thing is that it's a beautiful drive... but next time, I'll take Mopac.

How many SUV's can you count in that picture?

Agreed on the traffic, but I much rather sit on 360 (which I do most days) than Mopac or I-35. Lots of places to pull over and take pictures.

Yeah, I'd much rather be in the wilds of nature. The open road, big skies, freedom:

Yeah, you're right, Christian. What's a few more minutes? I did stop a few times to snap some shots.

You think you don't like Austin traffic? Come to Houston.

you think 360 was bad. You should of checked out I35N from Buda to Slaughter. Highway and sideroads, none stop.

Look at all these nerds driving down the road with camera in hand! Just kidding, but I think Gordon rules!

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.
