Oh my gosh I miss you all so much...it's been so long! I got my new 12" powerbook and now finals are upon me, and it's just been hectic. I...I...<hangs head in shame>
But on a brighter note, I have two exciting announcements re: the development of my hobby.
1. I'm a 2006 Photobloggies nominee--twice--in "Best Landscape Photography" and "Best Kept Secret" (my personal favorite). I was a nominee in 2005 as well, in its first year, but didn't win, sadly.

I don't care, it's all arbitrary anyway--just kind of cool to have my name up with Kathleen (Durham Township) and Bob (NoTraces)--so talented, and such nice people! What an honor!
2. Apple contacted me. I "for fun" submitted two pictures to their Apple Students gallery which lets students display their projects ranging from films, to music, to photography. One of their reps emailed me to say that they are going to unveil a new feature, which spotlights a single student from any category (that is, only 1 student, not 3....not sure why i cared to clarify, but i'm anal-retentive

) on the front page of their Apple Education website. Pretty cool. So after I sent my info back to the rep, I found out that out of those finalists I was chosen to be the first student profiled. Pretty sweet. I can't say I know what they're going to do with it, as it isn't up yet, it could turn out to be a little blurb in the very bottom corner, but I don't care. Like I said before, it's just nice to be noticed.
I feel like we should have a separate forum for Awards/Brags/Recognition, so I would feel so damn bratty posting my accomplishments.

And I just feel like this:

(Okay, I really just wanted an excuse to post the peanut-butter-jelly-time banana...)
