Lupe just got me all FIVE seasons of Babylon 5 on DVD! They had them at SAM's club for $39.95 each season. Oh Joy! The greatest Sci-Fi television show ever, and now all I need are the movies.....

I have the movies set on DVD .. and Season 1.. but not the rest, yet.
I do have the entire Columbia House VHS tape set, though. :)
LOVE that series.

If you've never seen Babylon 5, you *must* start at the beginning.. not "In The Beginning" (one of the TV movies that was filmed much later) because it gives away a lot of things that aren't revealed until Season 3 and 4.. Start with "The Gathering" and watch them in order... don't watch any of the movies until you are halfway through Season 4.
Oh, and don't give up on it first season.. first season had some weak episodes.. but by the time you get halfway through season 2, you'll find it hard to tear yourself away.

Season two is definately the one that gets things really going, although season one is not bad. But Brad is right it is imperative that you watch from the very beginning. THings you see in one episode might not have ramifications for 10-15 episodes later.

Maybe even not until the final episode, "Sleeping in Light" .. one of the few moments *ever* in TV that brought tears to my eyes.

Thats true, I choked up during "Sleeping in Light" man, this is one h*ll of a series. Lupe and I watched four episodes last night of season two. The foreshadowing is awesome.
