on the radio today some poll predicted chris was gonna leave tonight...so sad. he was the only one who had a chance of making something for himself. well, im done watching the show!!

My wife and I and a couple of friends were watching... Needless to say the room got really loud when they announced Chris was gone....

We're all in shock!

Of course Simon is hacked... now he has to figure out how to sell one of the other 3 artists as an American Idol. He has his work cut out for him no doubt.

Can't say I'm really following the show, as I lost interest in mainstream music a long long time ago; but my wife has been watching religiously and rooting for Chris so I've seen bits and pieces of it. Honestly guys, are you really surprised the rocker got voted out? I mean come on, rock music has been pretty much dead to the masses for ages. The teeny-boppers are bound to stick to their own, the chick will win. (Because surely those other two dorks don't have any chance, they're just awful).

Alright my turn to add my 2 cents.

What happened Wednesday night was utter bullcrap. I freakin hate TITS McFee! That no talent ass clown (being very sarcastic) should of been gone two or three shows ago. Mandesa & Paris had way more talent than McFee did or will ever have. I've got to agree with mcphotography...Wednesday night's results have put a damper on the show.

The results go to show America is more interested in Tits & Ass than pure talent! Chris's reaction said it all. He was in total shock. Although none of this should come as a shock. The Favorites usually never win. Whether it be in sports or American Idol.

Oh well, I done. But still hate that wench! I hope Chris catches on with a Record Company and creates a kick ass album.

Well Chris won't be able to go off on his own for a while since he is locked into the AI tour shlock but after that is over he will most likely become a front man for a decent rock group. He does have the look, the talent, and now some background to do that if the AI tour doesn't burn him out.

Only reason that I will watch is to vote heavily for the 2 guys so the "chick" is out in the next round, her talent level is below that of Ms Pickler.

I wonder how close the votes really were? 1% 2% range?

Now this is interesting, I've relistened to some clips from the last few minutes of last nights show-local FOX station has been all over this- and it is very interesting to listen to the CROWD/AUDIANCE reaction when they say who the bottom 2 are and when Ryan mentions the woman vs Chris! THE TEENAGE GIRLS ARE ALL MAD WHEN HE SAYS HER NAME! Teenage GIRLS liked her more than Chris and we all know how much time teenage girls spend on the phone! Really after this revelation I am suprised that she is in the bottom 2!

I agree with Sonny... Katherine is a joke... Elliot should of been out a long time ago... Taylor is a great entertainer, but I did not see him as the AI type....

Seriously... looking back at all the other winners... it really seems that the show pushes for a more classic, traditional, diversified voice... even with Kelly Clarkson... when she was on the show she kept it in a box of conservatilism... it wasn't till her second record that she started to break out into her "rocker chick" look and sound... Chris had just enough diversity to make him good each night, but a little to much of a rocker sound to win...

I think it sucks big monkey nuts that we can't get a rocker through... even last season when Bo lost to that suck crack Carrie Underhoe... uggg...
