Question Digital Photo Pro Mag: missing pages? - 05-10-2006, 11:58 PM

Before I go through the agony of asking for a new issue being sent to my house, I thought I'd toss this out to the world... one of you out there must read this mag as well as me...

...I finally had the 10 seconds to sit down and read an article in the 2006 March/April edition of Digital Photo Pro mag. I started on p42 with an article titled "Basic Portrait Polishing" by Maura C. Lanahan. I started to read the article, (looking for secrets that I didn't know), turn the page and... the text is gone! Then I realized that the picture/caption on p44 and 45 are exactly the same! On p47, the text picks up, but from the wrong spot - the whole middle is missing!

So, as I was saying, before I ask for another copy being sent to me, I thought I'd ask my distinguished colleagues if your issues were messed up too...

I don't think so.. still reading that issue myself. I'll look when I go to bed.

Oh, wait.. March/April? I think Leslie has my copy of that one.

...skip to May/June ...there's a blurb in the Editor's section stating their mistake... it said the article was posted to their web-page here, but color me stupid, I just don't see it!!

...this is turning into a quest!

(update - I sent a message to the editor about the missing link - if I get a reply, I'll update here)

They will send you the correction by email. You won't be able to get a new mag.

And yes, they sent the PDF of the article, but there's a big banner page that says I don't have permission to post it... sorry gang, you have to request your own...
