Printing Wide Shots - 05-12-2006, 10:21 PM

Okay I have ran into a wall. Need some help.

I have a few shots that are wide shots where I have taken 3 or 4 photos and made them into 1 panoramic shot. Any ideas where to get these printed at? Online would be good as I live in Wichita Falls and we dont have anything worth a flip here.

I do my own printing but I've know people who have used these and seem happy.

Yes, I am bringing back to life a 2 year old thread. Anyone know of any labs that will print something wider than a 30x50 or 20x30? Those don't seem very panoramic to me and I can't find much in the sites listed above. What am I missing and where??

After using the search feature for the third time and getting different results I found http://www.perfectposters.com/. It seems to have exactly what I was looking for. Another member recommended it but I have no experience with them so I can't vouch for them. If I do use them, I'll let you know.

Any other place?

I use perfectposters a lot. I have used them for all sorts of odd sized and large prints.

They are inkjet if it matters.

They do have dye-based and pigment based printing. I'm not too knowledgeable of printing and ink but I am guessing they dye based is the inkjet or are they both?

I just got my two images in from perfectposters.com . I think they look great from my first glance. I haven't had a chance to do a really good look-over under good lighting though. I think it is worth $30 for two specialty sized prints. One was 28x12 and the other was 36x11.51.
