Overnight Printing - what's the story? - 05-24-2006, 07:32 PM

Has anyone been able to order from Overnightprinting.com in the last few weeks? The site was down... then up... now it's down again... what gives? I've been trying to recommend their biz-card services (the best I've used so far).

They are redesigning their website. Please be patient.

I have also ordered many times from OvernightPrints and love their quality & service!

I'm no expert, but to me, it seems like a company that's based solely (as far as I know) on internet commerce would have some kind of second source... something to keep the jobs coming in while they re-work the site, right? I mean, they've cut themselves off from their customers... I've recommended them to a few friends because they do excellent work... but if they can't get to order, then there's no money coming in...

...or it's just me...

NOPE...this is their website

http://www.overnightprints.com/

I also made the mistake of assuming the address was correct when I clicked on your link. After further review, I saw the mistake...OvernightprintING.com

if your cards come out weird looking, coloring off etc, be sure to call and tell them, theyll reprint and send u a new set ASAP...

i asked if they have Quality control people and i was pretty much told yes but we can check all the orders. so it seems they just wait for those calls when people arent happy and then reprint. whats weird is the reprints are always better than the bad batch.

Yep, that's the impression that I got also. My first set of cards looked so bad there is no way anyone actually looked at them. They jusy printed and cut them and shipped them.
My reprints look just fine because now they were looking....

Cards arrived yesterday. Way too dark. I can't see the graphics behind the lettering.

Contacted Overnightprints (e-mail and phone-actually spoke with a person) and they will see if they can reprint, if not, refund. E-mailed the images for the card so they could see the details.

Of course, now I might have to wait 'til after Memorial Day...

Refund it is. They said that the design could not be produced by their printers.

Any recommendations?
