This one covers shooting from a helicopter.

Ways to get ariel shots, plane, helicopter,hand glider, parasail, parachute, balloon, camera itself on a remote control plane, balloon, kite (very risky), thrown up in the air and caught (last option is if you are crazy or have a cheap camera that you don't mind loosing and have a way of firing it off).
The tossing camera in the air trick has been going on with some of the cheap digital P+S's where you hit the delay timer to fire the shot and then toss the camera into the air and catch it, preferably over a soft surface.

Just the other day I saw something about guys that put cameras in kites and shoot. Don't know about tossing one in the air though! It does sound kind of cool.
