What Email Program do you use - 06-30-2006, 09:55 PM

Im trying to get away from using Outlook at home and I am now making my second attempt at using Thunderbird as my email program. I hate web based email (yahoo, gmail etc...) but do have those just for giggles.

What email programs do you MS Windows folks use?

James

I use SBC Yahoo for my primary address and GMail for things that tend to generate spam.

Still use Outlook, mostly for my work compatability, but with Slovak's Attachment Options, or most stuff would not come through. (I let AV take care of bad attachments).

I've been using Thunderbird for awhile and I'm happy. Simple and not bloated while having a good feature set.

When you guys say, "Outlook", which version are you talking about? Outlook Express? The full-blown version? I use Outlook 2003 and love it. No problems at all. I also use Yahoo Mail and Google's mail client (Gmail).

Whurd! Been using GMail for about a year, maybe a year and a half. Thousands and thousands of emails with thousands of attachments. All nice and safe and only taking 18% of my capacity.

Anyone interested PM me. I got more invites than I could ever use.

And you know me, always happy to share. Or trade ...

I've never even heard of Thunderbird. Maybe I can find an email app titled "Voltron".

Prophet out.

I use gmail, and then my website e-mail...which has a really clunky interface. I'm thinking of seeing how thunderbird is but dont really know anything at all about it.
