Question Football Program Ad--please critique - 07-10-2006, 03:39 PM

I've never designed an ad before, and wanted to get as much info on it as possible (at least some photo examples of action shots, posters, and senior portraits). The goal, of course, is to keep it from looking too busy. I'm not sure if I accomlished that.

This will be printed on very nice stock, so the photos should look pretty good.

Comments?

Criticisms?--what would you change?

Thanks for the help--I need to submit the final version later this week.

Thanks, Huck.

If anyone has any comments, they'd be greatly appreciated--especially suggestions for change.

All looks great. The text next to the Senior picutres looks a bit lonely. May want to come up with something else, and fill it in a bit more.

Other than that, you done a great job.

Regards,

AG

The one thing that is perhaps bothering me is the stroke around the URL. It just seem a little heavy to me and I had to concentrate to read the address. Other than that, I think you have done a good job.

I'm not a graphic artist, but I really like the layout. I always try to look at something like this from the viewpoint of the potential client. Statistically, you need to get your info out in three seconds or less. I thin your poster, or handout, is right on the edge of this threshold. It is direct and to the point. I don't have to re-read it to find out what the product is.

All in all I think it is a winner.

Looks great to me. It's simple, direct and you can scan it in less than 10/15 seconds.

Only thing I'd add is if you're the "official" photographer for the team to add that as it will add credibility to your photo expertise.

Nice job Tom!
