Winstar Here I Come

Ok, with my recent luck at poker, a group of my friends are dragging me up to Winstar Saturday to sit at the poker tables. They have givenme $80 (well I won it from them ) So I'm going to sit down, if I get ahead good, If I loose the money ow well, I made $400 off them a week ago. With any luck I'll come back with some $$$ to get me a new lens or tripod....or flash....it hink in that order

If not.....then I'll have to assume the reason they are taking me up there is to mess with my winning streak and makeit so they can start taking MY money. Well, wish me luck...I'll need it.

I worked at Winstar long ago before the poker tables and what nots. Havent been there in a while. I love poker. Wish i had more $$ to play it at the casinos.

If you think you will need luck, then you definitely will. Luck has almost nothing to do with it. What you need is a bigger starting stake.

And remember the great line from Rounders: If you are still wondering after 20 minutes who the patsy is, you are it.

you have to have $40 to sit at the Fixed limit tables there. I'm bringing 80 for sure but may bring 100. I say luck, because with fixed limit, it's hard to buy the bought or bluff the pot when people can stay in for another 5 dollars. Of course, if someon else is tryingt o buy the pot also....it can go up quick. So, I need a little luck in what I get dealt, something I can work with. I know I won't be the patsy for the sheer fact that the 3 guys i'm going with.....well let's just say they've only one once or twice when we play.....and it's only when I'm out in the first hour due to crappy hands and those one up situations. You know...Full house 9's over J's but they have J's over 9's.....that sucks.

It's hard to gauge how good I am because I know their playing style so well it's almost become fish in a barrell.
