Has she or David heard of Battlestar Galactica (not the new series). The original lasted only one season 1978-1979, another cult favorite. The Cylons were cool.

Man I remember all those and I'm only 34. I remember watching Shazam (Captain Marvel) and Isis, anyone remember her, back when Saturday mornings actually meant something. Waking up early before the crack of dawn eating bowl after bowl of cereal shaped sugar and bouncing off the walls -- ahh, the good old days.
I remember a show called Electric Woman and Wonder Girl , I think that's what it was called? I googled it with no results.

Sugar shaped cereal rocks! Yeah, it was the one day of the week I ever wanted to get up before noon.
Whatever happened to Sugar Bear? I think he was kidnapped along with Count Chocula, Boo Berry, and all those other high-octane breakfast cereal icons of days gone past...
Cylons were cool. Battlestar Galactica was a good old western gone sci-fi.

All those sugar based cereals had the word "sugar" taken away. Super Golden Sugar Crisps became Golden Crisps, Sugar Pops became Corn Pops. Same amount of sugar, if not more.

You can still find count chocula and booberry sometimes. It's limited run and distribution now.
Saw that on the Food Channel.
