Photoshop CS2 - 07-15-2006, 09:04 PM

Anyone here able to answer my question

I own photoshop elements 4.0 -- when I bought it it allowed me to place it on 2 computers. Does the same hold true to CS2. I was thinking of upgrading, but need it on my home and laptop computer cause I never know which one I am going to be using.

I downloaded the trail and I really have enjoyed it so far.

Wow, just noticed it was $499 to upgrade from PSE 4.0, maybe I should just buy a copy without the upgrade....LOL

If you can find an old copy of Photoshop, say PS7, for a good price, buy it and install it on your computer. Once you have a legit copy of PS on your computer, you can install an upgrade for a much reduced price. I think somewhere around $150.00. May be wrong on the price, but it is a lot lower. The trick is trying to find an unregisted copy of an earlier version. Good luck.

Even if you find an old copy that has already registered, many times you can get the former owner to do an Adobe official license transfer. It's a short one page form you can download here: http://www.adobe.com/support/service...ner/ToL_NA.pdf The previous owner fills out the top, mails it to you, and then you fill the rest out and mail/fax to Adobe. Then, you're legal.

Check out ebay. You'll be able to find an old version there at a resonable price.

If you are in school, look at academic pricing....
