Entertainment industry... - 04-18-2005, 04:20 PM

Ok, so I have a photography assignment that compares a theme of a big city to a small city. My big city is Houston and small city is College Station. Im focusing on the entertainment industry, mainly restaraunts and clubs/bars. Now, I have all the photos I need but I just need to figure out a creative way to present to the class. I have no clue what I wanna do.. any suggestions..

Adam

So are you going to have text with them?
Sound and music ?

If so look at ProShow Gold, great for music and sound, make up your text slides in Photoshop and then add them the the main show.

Now if you are going to have a lot of text then Power Point would be a way to go. Power Point 2003 has some very nice timing things in it.

Fade one in on top of the other, if you are in a bar, record some bar sounds for sound clips.

How about building a menu and using the photos to illustrate the different "items" on the menu? It fits with the theme and may drive a point home (not sure what, though!)

Hey, if she's as good looking as she is smart, you've got a keeper!

I was thinking of you building a PHYSICAL menu. Think Tex-Mex restaurant with the pictures of the dishes (your pictures) and descriptions of the item.

I wan't thinking menu as in computer menu. Not sure how big it has to be, but you could print them on legal size paper, bind them, etc.
