Why can't spammers learn that the best way to identify their messages is to look for the terrible spelling and grammar in what are supposed to be corporate emails?

Scratch that--stay dumb please.

Yeah... I laughed when I read it... I was like "sure... I'll just click there and give you all of my information. You guys are safe... I can tell because you EMAILED ME and didn't use my name." The funniest thing is that it came to an email account that I never use. Every now and then I get SPAM that has 50 versions of my ham call sign email address... Those make it to the electro-basura RFN...

Most of the scammers are not native english speakers, so the problems help those with intelligence avoid the scams.

I think of it as social darwinism. If you fall for these things, you should be kicked from the net's gene pool.

We get weird emails all the time, but the one I got the other day was special. My wife deals on ebay. I opened up her email and there was an email congratulating her on winning the auction on ebay for a sexy strapless dress. Payment HAD to be made with a paypal account which she has. But something just did not look right. I wrote down the auction number, went on ebay and sure enough, there was the auction for a sexy strapless dress for several hundred dollars. But her ebay name was not the winning bidder, the seller's feedback was absolutely terrible and listed as private, plus she hasn't worn that size of dress since I first met her! I called her and she said she never bid on a dress. I went back to the email and sure enough, there was a link for me to click on to put in her paypal info including her password. I forwarded the email to ebay, which they will do absolutely nothing about, and deleted the email. This was one of the slickest I've seen, complete with color graphics for ebay and paypal and a link to what appeared to be a real auction on ebay.
