Arlington Camera

Well last Sat was mine and my sons birthday so the whole family headed off to Dallas. While my wife and daughter shopped at the malls me and my son headed over to Arlington Camera. Man I was like a kid in a candy store!!!! I showed a lot of retraint though and only bought a Bogen monopod, a small light stand for a background light, two grip heads and a Westcott reflector arm. I had to get out of there after two hours because I couldn't hold off much longer and the credit card was saying "go ahead, get whatever you want".
We had our birthday dinner at the Magic Time Machine and finished up the weekend at the game store for my son. I turned 43 and he turned 9! Kinda cool sharing my birthday with my son. He's still the best birthday present I have ever got!

Now I'm jealous of all you living around these great camera stores, all we have is WalMart which is nough said about that

AWW that is a great birthday prestent... John..!! and I so know what you mean.. I live near Seattle.. with MANY camera shops.. here.. and with just getting the BUG of a new camera.. Im always saying.. lets go to this shop.. I am.. banned from going to a camera shop..for a few weeks.. there is the interenet.. hahaha!! I cant wait to tell my family now..when they ask... what do you want for your birthday/ xmas ?( 4 days apart) .. they will say..OHH a new..hobby I see.. LOL.. OHH and I work side jobs.. it helps pay for the.. goodies.. haha!.. Janice
