I know a lot if you do a lot of shooting at the Brazos Bend State Park.
So if you were planning a trip to the park what would be the best time to do it. That is what part of the year.
When there was a lot of wildlife there.

I'd go with Spring too because most of the birds are in their breeding plumage and look better.

But, you do see a lot of animals in the Fall too. I think it's better when the weather is not so hot - the animals are more active and that goes for this animal too.

Falls nice too, but springs best.
I actually go both times and also early summer.

Spring is best because you get alot of migrants coming through (birds that is).
Fall has some migrants stopping over on the way south, but not like the spring drops.

Summer sucks due to the low water levels, high heat, mosquito crowds, and usually large groups of noisy boy&cub scouts.

I have been going there for the last four years and I found the best time to go was late April, late October or early November and mid to late February.
