Not for a while anyway. I'm scheduled for shoulder surgery next Thursday and just wanted to whine about it. Oh well on the good side of it, am I supposed to take two pain pills every four hours or four pills every two hours? Either way 2X4=8 right?

I hope yours goes better than mine.. the surgery went well, but the recovery was almost 6 months with Physical Therapy. Even now, 2 yrs later, that shoulder is definitely the weak one.
You should shoot lots now so you can sit and edit them during recovery!!

Sorry to hear the news.
If you take hundreds of pictues prior to surgery, then you will have some pictures
to edit in PS to occupy your time/ speeds up recovery.

Ask the Doc if he can implant one of those cool video camera stabilizer mounts in place of your arm, then you could get IS/VR/AS no matter what camera/lens you use!!!!!!!!!

Whine away now but be sure to post under the influence of pain pills. This should be really good! Have a good recovery.

Well it's all over and done with now. Still to early to tell the outcome. They removed my pain pump today an I'm still hitting the darvocettes. They are not as much fun when you actually need them.

Shoulder Surgery - 09-18-2006, 09:15 PM

This is what I did during my shoulder surgery recovery. Trust me, recovery is not that bad and you can do a lot with a camera and tripod. Keep shooting!!!
