We had been taking them out, cleaning them and eating them. My wife has a pretty bad phobia of them, and from her stories and things I've seen, I think they know it and mess w/ her lol... She had gotten grapes out of there a few times and never saw it. She is also about 2 months pregnant, so it would have been doubly bad if she got bitten. Even if it didn't hurt her, it would have been horrible for the baby. Caleb loves spiders and loves to catch grasshoppers and such. It was hard to get across why you can just touch spiders and other creepys that you don't know a lot about, but her got it, and he now gets us when he sees them. I guess we are very, VERY lucky this wasn't 3-4 months ago when he might have touched it.

Here are a few of the one's i've gotten pics of, although there are hundreds more. I catch terantula type spiders (big) all the time that have hundreds of babies on thier back. Step on em and watch the babies scatter. They look odd to because their backs are moving with all the babies lol... Yea, plenty of black and white widows, some famous black widows, and a bunch more. Even a snake or two lol... Gotta love living in the middle of a bunch of corn fields. lol Makes for great landscapes like these though... :)
