I agree with that totally. I would of loved to see UT score at least once more before the game was over. But it was still a good game. McCoy did really good in his first big game I think.

24-7 .. OSU rocked em

12 game 40+ point streak broken .. first time since 2004 held to less than 10 points.

Hows bout that young defense

Even the "haven't lost a game when we out-rush an opponent" streak is broken.

I wonder how bad the OSU fans trashed downtown. (or for that matter, UT fans...) Guess I'll find out on Monday.

I'm not a fanboy, but it's too bad they lost...

OSU fans aren't known for trashing towns

That's really too bad...then again, I had to admit I'm enjoying the fact that at least once this season A&M has a better record than Texas.

Gig 'em!

Here's what ticked me off: just as my order arrived at Wings N Things and the 'Stros already have the Brewers pwn3d in the fourth, every TV in the place gets tuned to the 'Horns. I'm not anti-UT and I totally dig college football, but gimme a break. Had my order not just come out, I likely would've walked out.

i was downtown for the game at Maggie Mae's ...what a crowd it was...too bad texas didnt come out on top..but in real life...for colt ....you really dont know what winning feels like until you have lost...maybe this will motivate him to step up. and why no rushing plays for texas in the second half? they were doin good in the first half...no tellin. overall...good game..and congrats to OSU for the big win...they arent ranked #1 for nothin. ..

go horns!

As a couple of other people have pointed out, the pivotal play in the game was the Texas fumble at the OSU two yard line. Ohio State returns the ball to the 50 and then some nitwit convinced Mack to use a challenge on the fumble when replay after replay showed that it was clearly a fumble. Texas could have used that challenge later in the fourth on that Ohio State touchdown close at the goal line. That fumble was almost like a 14 point swing. Oh well.....
