Post your predictions for the game as well as a rational. My Prediction: TEXAS 31 - OSU 20 My Rational: Texas is solid top to bottom. The only possible question mark is, of course, at QB, but McCoy surprised everyone last week. The loss of Tarell Brown and Tyrell Gatewood would be an issue if Texas didn't have depth in virtually every position.
Ohio State's offense is explosive but their defense is young. Both offenses are about equal so I have to give the win to Texas on defense. HOOK'EM

Unfortunately, as a native of the Buckeye state and an adopted Texan, I am torn. But, I have to give the nod to Ohio State by 7, even with the Texas home field. Go Bucks!

Fair enough, but why? What do you see in the teams that compel you to pick OSU over UT?

I love your Hookem graphics, Carlos! And UT kicked a** and took names at the Rose Bowl and I'm betting they'll do the same this week! (I don't have any good reasoning since I know enough about the game and love watching it but don't know all the technicalities of the offenses and defenses since I haven't been keeping up as well as I usually do on college football).

If I watch the game, Horns will loose (no, I am not superstitious ). Last year Rosebowl I could not watch from start of the 4th quarter, walked away from TV, came running back, when I heard my wife was clapping hands and screaming to see (in replay) our defense stopped USC.
If I watch the game Horns will loose by 7, else win by 3. Sorry folks, I have to watch the game
p.s. I did watch the game at horse shoe, and the horns won by 3

i forgot we were in a 'texas" photography forum. texas doesn't stand a chance this year sorry. they woulda lost last year if it hadn't been for OSU's coach putting in the wrong qb at the end of the game (a mistake that will HAUNT him for the rest of his life.) OSU by 10 which kills me to say cause i'm definitely no buckeye fan!

Texas didn't "stand a chance" against USC either. As for Tressel putting in the wrong QB last year... coulda, woulda, shoulda... hindsight's 20/20.

I ready for a great game. We know the horns can do it. I think the key is the differnce in the defenses. Hookem is right. Ohio State has a young defense. Our offensive line is bigger and older. If we run up the middle and just over power them we will win. McCoy showed he can do it. Hopefully who ever is at center will snap the ball better this week. I also think they should scrap the shotgun formation and just focus on running the ball up the middle.
I am leaving work today at noon to avoid the tailgaters! I work at 6th and Congress and we are already seeing increased foot traffic of crazy buckeyes.
