Nice. I think that his other 2 books should be the first ones new photographers pick up. I know that for me "Elements of Exposure" was a big help.

When I started getting back into photography last year, the first book I read was Understanding Exposure, which was a very nice refresher course. It helped bring back so much that had been forgotten. Then I followed it up with Learning to See Creatively, which helped to expand my vision. I still go back to both on occasion just to look at the pictures and read his comments. His digital book hasn't done so well because there are some inaccuracies in it, which I think is due to being rushed to press. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to taking a look at this new one.

Regardless of how one feels about the technical aspects of his books...they are just gosh-darn fun to read. I'm sure this one will find it's way into my library at some point.
