For those of you who may know this great photographer, Monte Zucker, I received the following from the Woodlands Photo Club.
"Seems as if some serious health issues may cause a slight change of my [Monte Zucker] schedule. As of now, I’m planning to go through with most of my plans for this year and next year.
Doctors today confirmed that I have a form of pancreatic cancer. I will begin treatments sometime early in November. The prognosis is that I have one more year to live. Plenty of time to get things in order.
Because of this, I am canceling the Palm Beach Workshops and the Cincinnati classes in February and March. I am putting any classes scheduled for June or later on hold and will not be taking additional registrants at this time.
My goal is to finish all the Zucker/Tapp tour, teach the classes I have scheduled for Sarasota (together with Eddie Tapp), PPA/San Antonio, Las Vegas/WPPI, and once more in my home town, the Washington, DC area. I am also going to do everything in my power to teach the two classes in Europe – Cyprus and France.
Finally, I am REALLY looking forward to the cruise. I would be delighted to have any of you who are able to come and join me as I celebrate life (and teach portraiture!) during this very special week.
Anything after that I’ll just have to wait and see." |
