Abel--it was great to finally meet you in Houston last month! I really appreciate the work you've been doing with the site, and thanks for creating it! My photography has improved a lot since joining (to the detriment of my bank account, of course). Again, thanks!

--Daniel

The story behind the "lurker" part is in the Forum Lurkers thread (first page in Site Info). Just in case you're bored and curious.

Dude, you need to study more and spend less time on TPF!!!

It took me a year to get 4K posts, you've done it in what, half that?

*counts on fingers, pulls out calculator*

uh...

*discards calculator, fires up Mathematica*

I'd say... a rough guess... yeah, six months sounds right.

But--I got a 97.5 on my last Cal 3 exam, a 95 in Astronomy, and a 98 in Theatre History, so I'd say that studying and posting can coexist peacefully...

Cal 3... As in Calculus 3? Isn't one Calculus enough? That's like saying I was going to stab myself once but 3 times sounds like more fun.

or does that mean Cyphering 3 (a subject you can only take at A&M?) Naught from naught... carrry the naught...

Just think how smart you'll be when you turn 17

No... only 4,000 posts. It's going to take Daniel at least another 6 months to hit 4,000,000 posts.

Nah, Calculus is nuttin... wait 'til he gets to DiffEq, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, or the one that really separates the wheat from the chaff: Real Analysis.

Diff E doesn't sound too bad... that's next semester. I think it's all just numerical analysis or something like that afterwards... I'll have to check the degree plan.

And iCe--yeah, at least.
