the 3 series has always been nice, try an M3 for a rocket ship though.

In a straight line, sure. On a road course, no way.

i love the 7 series personally, but what i can't stand is having to pay so much for a vehicle that don't have gadgets to go with it. navigation, dvd, buttons i don't know what they do but have. i need toys to help justify the price and not because it's an import or it's motor.

by the way did you guys see this:

I haven't seen that before. But it's a really cool design...

The E46 M3 was rated at 333 HP naturally aspirated. The new 335i is 300HP twin turbo. I've driven both. I also owned an E36M3 for several years. The new 335i is so much like an M3, but when you set the speed control for 70 in 6th gear it still gets 25+ MPG. On a race track the M3 will eat the 335i for lunch, but how often do you drive at 9/10?

Trust me. The 335i is every bit the rocket ship the E46M3 was. Now what the new E90 M3 will hold is yet to be seen

It was only available in the coupe until a few weeks ago when the sedan started shipping. Like I said, I am the first one to drive Classic's only loaner 335i. It had less than 50 miles on it this AM

Big fun was had tonight

welcome to the wonderful world of twin turbo's. it's a shame that there are a few that are blowing up. i can't wait to see what kind of reliable power they extract from the motor.
