Anybody that has any knowledge of stamps knows that the Upside down Flying Jenny "airmail" is one of the holy grails of US stamps. I'm surpised and glad that someone spotted it on the envelope and just didn't toss it.

Some family in Florida is out a 1/2 of a MILLION BUCKS!

Well I guess that's another saga of the competency of Florida Voters!!

1. Not following the rules for absentee voting.
2. Using a $500,00.00 stamp to mail it.

Local news screwed the story up saying the individual stamp was worth $3 million, no single stamp is worth that much, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treskilling_Yellow they also announced it as breaking news! HA HA HA
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverted_Jenny
At the bottom the article said that they found the mailer of the ballot and that it was a commerative stamp that was used which was worth around 50 cents, never heard of this commemerative being made by the Post office.
