Back when I was in the USMC my roommate head a '67 Camaro RS/SS. Jet black, it had the hideaway headlights and white rally stripe. It was sweeet!

Young Marines, cruising San Diego and Mission beach in that car. Life was good....

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Dream car - 11-13-2006, 10:43 PM

There was one just like that on the used car lot sitting next to the 67 Mustang that I bought in 1968.

Mmmmm, definitely HIGH on my list for favorite cars as well, although not so much in that color.

---------------------------
1d mkII, 20D, sigma 15mm f2.8, 28 1.8, 50 1.8, 28-70 2.8, 70-200 f2.8, 1.4 mkII extender. Fisheye and 28 1.8 are sigma ex, rest are canon.

I loved my Firebird before I had to sell it (though, it was a 96 w/LT1 and some mods). I think if I get another sports car, i'm getting a fox body. Parts galore for that motor.

I've had six F-Body's, which includes my wifes/our LT-1 M6 Z28 thats in the garage right now. And I've had two nice Fox's. A decently modded 88 Hatch, and the 86 hatch I just sold. That one was a nice ported/polished 306ci beast. Mild heads, B-cam, MSD, big carb, Performer intake manni, built Turbo 350 tranny w/ B&M add-in's that goes through 4:56 gears out back, ect... Yea, I loved that car. But, w/ a baby on the way, the toys had to go for a while... :(
