What are you going to shoot this weekend?

Happy Friday everyone! Just curious what everyone plans to shoot this weekend. I haven't completely decided yet, but I have this bug in my ear now about the zoo from another thread here. So, we may just make a family trip to the zoo tomorrow. If not there, I'll probably just get in the car and drive until I come upon something interesting. My 9 year old loves to take pictures also, so I might bring him along.

Note: The shoot is on Saturday, not Sunday as is originally stated in the linked post. They're still open to have more photographers if anybody is interested.

I'm going to shoot a "Texas Model and Talent " group also....except the Models will be in the form of my Talented 6 year old Granddaughter and friends at her big birthday bash...at McDonald's no less.

How bout them apples now? Don't that sound exciting?!

I'm headed south to Brazos Bend and Brazoria NWR to shoot some birds. reptiles, deer, feral pigs, and anything else I can find. :D

I took this the last time I was there. Bambi probably has grown up by now.

Brazos Bend is one of my favorite places to go! We camp and bike there a lot. Unfortunately, my kids and husband are usually so eager to go biking I don't often take many photos there. I need to go by myself sometime.

Nice photo of the deer! I love that the deer in that park are so tame. It makes it easy to get nice shots of them.

Saturday is up in the air at the moment. I fear that my wife will insist I do some chores around the house I've been delaying due to the weather (install a new screen door in the back, run some wires through the attic, etc)

Sunday I'll be hitting the zoo with some friends to try their lenses.

Its located between Angleton and the coast. The closest city is Oyster Creek. Parts of it consist of coastal waters. You have both salt and fresh water environments.

Get to go shoot my son's Tae Kwon Do tournament today. Actually going early to get the Adult Black Belts doing their thing and then waiting around until his group comes up. Just hoping the lighting is decent.

Well, here it is Saturday already, and im still in my PJ's, drinking coffee and looking at the forums. Its pretty outside in Houston, and really should have grabbed my gear and went somewhere. Perhaps Sunday morning???? I like to get up before the sun comes up and head out to the country and try to find something interesting to shoot as the sun comes up. Whether its an old barn, old tractor sitting in a field.....who knows, but I sure enjoy that time of the morning. I can almost go out and shoot for several hours, and still be home before the wife and kids start rolling out of bed.....hehe.
