are some of those things really on sale at ritz camera? they list the Lowerpro Micro Trekker 200 on sale for $79.99. in the black friday add.

thats what I paid for mine several years ago when it was not on sale and im pretty sure thats what the price was back in February when I was looking at bags.

I just check the ritz camera web site and its current price is $79.99

I guess its good marketing to tell people something is on sale when it is actually not a sale price. they just think they got it on sale

yes, thats generally how it goes. there's lots of customers that will buy something if its in the advertisement when its the same price anyway. its the whole "I got it on sale" mentality of the clientele they live on.
