From my grandmothers photos, my aunt culled these out for me:

HQ 2-36th Infantry, 1st Brigade, 3rd Armored Division 1983 Ayers Kaserne "The Rock"

The main gate to the Kaserne:

A very damaged photo of me at Baumholder, I have never been so cold in all my life. It was below 20F with a 20-25mph wind blowing up this bald @ssed hill right into our faces. The ground was frozen so hard that every time we fired one of our 4.2" mortars, the track slid! I still have my "graf" jacket! Found it the other day in the garage. I think I paid $20 plus the poncho liner, and the wet weather jacket to the tailor to do it.

Me, as a brand new "butter bar" at Fort Benning during Ranger phase:

interesting photos murph...

i have become our relatives official keeper of all old photographs - and funny enough, we spent some time going thru them and restoring a couple this weekend.

YEah, the baby photos were horrible, the kids wanted to see every single stinking one of daddy as a baby.
