Thats not all programmers :-P those are just mostly the ones that work in india who don't speak english lmao

Some of the worst programmers I've ever experienced were from the bay area ... at least as bad as anything outsourced to India. And some of the best were Indian (not surprising, you get something like 5x the pool of really clever people to pull from), so those sorts of generalizations really don't work.

what I've always wondered (I worked in computer design + mfg for 30 years) is why development and testing of software is done on the latest and greatest, biggest and badest hardware, but sold to be installed on 5-10 year old 14th generation hand-me-down computers........

and then they wonder why people call and yell.....

We have two in house, born and raised Texan programmers and we hear this and more on a daily basis. And yes I did send it to them and the tester :)
