I was being robbed today. And a gentlman from D(?) and Philis Crimes name R. Randall help me get my macbook pro notebook back. I was so frustrated and very emotional unstable back then, so I probably record the title "D and Phillis Crimes" wrong. When I went home I wanted to checked it online but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know how to look for the information, I want to thank him and write a sincere letter to his supervisor, and I want to make sure they get it.

Minghao, Was this someone from the Houston Police Department or from the Harris County Sheriff's Department? I was thinking maybe the D stood for Division or Department. For example, the DOJ (Dee Oh Jay) is the Department of Justice.

Maybe if you gave a little more info, it would help to track down this person.

I'm so glad you got your computer back and that you (hopefully) were not harmed physically (not to minimize the emotional trauma of a robbery.)

Also, hopefully you didn't lose any camera gear!

Take care,
Patti

Hello, Patti. Thanks for the info. I didn't loose any camera gear. My mind wasn't clear last night, but I do have the police report file number and the officer's name. Should I contact that officer? Or there's an information center in HPD could help me with it?

Sincerely,

Minghao

Is "D and Phyllis Crimes" a company name? Check the spelling on Phyllis (normally 2 L's and a Y, I think), and check if it's Crimes (uncommon name) or Grimes (common name).

If the officer involved might have that information, you might just call or email and see if they can help.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
